Nickel Free Specification in Europe

Just got an order to ship our merchandise [watches] to Europe, as not familiar with the requirement on nickel release rate for European countries, (1) I'd like to know if there is any standard specification provided by official community / govt which I can follow. To comply with 'nickel free' requirement, (2) is it enough to conduct nickel release test - EN 1811.

Try the industry group: Nickel Development Institute. They have just published a number of technical papers in Chinese and can probably help you find a copy of it. One of their recent articles on the euro coins referenced a "EU Nickel Directive" which might just be what you need.

Cheers!
