Paints for corroded machinery

Resp. sir,

I am working in a pickling industry. Due to acid fumes present in the atmosphere, there is lot of corrosion of our machinery in our plant. I came to know about a paint which when applied to the corroded part (even without cleaning the rust)forms a compound with the rust and coat the metal. I would like to know about the paint and any Indian manufacturers.

Thanks.

TRY COATING THE RUSTED PARTS IN NATURAL FISH OIL. IT WILL SOAK INTO AND STOP THE RUST AND WHEN DRY CAN BE PAINTED OVER. SMELLS A BIT BUT WORKS WELL.

Another approach might be to look for a "rusty metal primer". I tried this with several Internet search engines and found several paints designed for use with high temperatures and acidic conditions that are primarily marketed to the automotive rebuild/customizing industry.

A special kind of blasting machine which can remove all the rust on a machinery without affecting all and any of the sensitive parts which are all in-situ, (these need not be removed)because the media is sodium bi carbonate.

In one hour it can strip out cleanly and back to pristine condition a machinery that takes a few hours through chemical stripping.
