Electroless nickel plating

Dear sir,

I am a student of RECW and want to have technical data regarding the electroless nickel plating. The chemicals that are required, mechanism, applications. Please do me the favor.

Thanking you,

C. Pawan Kumar

You can find a chapter on electroless plating in many of the standard plating textbooks, Pawan. Probably the easiest to get or find in a local library would be the Metal Finishing Guidebook. But for more detailed info, one of the specialty books about electroless plating would go further. You might try to find "Electroless Plating - Fundamentals & Applications"by Mallory & Hajdu [on eBay , Amazon, or AbeBooks affil links] , Chemical (Electroless) Nickel Plating by G.G. Gawrilov, or Electroless Nickel Plating[this on on Amazonaffil links] by Wolfgang Riedel.

Possibly you can locate a plating shop who would invite you in to see this process firsthand. Good luck!
