Clear coat on aluminium surfaces

Clear coat on Aluminium surfaces?

To whom it may concern.

We are a moldings and extrusions company, mainly producing products for rainwater, building materials and electrical. We have some Aluminium products in our range and are looking in to more. One of the qualities we are looking for is a clear Lacquer, primer film or other surface treatment to the Aluminium. This is to maintain the natural visual properties in the material as well as possible. Our aluminium products have a wall thickness between 1.5 and 2.5 mm. The finish needs to be hard enough for foot wear to hit and brush by and it needs to be non-susceptible to dirt and dust - non-absorbent.

Also could you give us relevant technical details on the possible product - on fire retardants, flammability etc?

Thank you for taking the time for this situation. Any info or related contacts would be useful.

Thank You.

Kindest Regards,

Mette Lind
