Scam of Iridium-Copper Coins

12341-3 (Special thanks for Froggy graphic to Michele Maki of michelesworld.net)

Again Iridium Copper coins? I have wandered Just like a Dog all over India for this coin till now I did not see the coin. Lot of persons (may be 1 crore mediators) are going hither and thither to find out the coin holders. Some people are doing a business and collecting money from the buyer mediators. Some people are not able to see the coin even after one month stay in hotels and places where the coin holders are residing. I think these people should be punished and CBI should take into consideration about this HOAX and who are involved in this scams should be punished.

There's a fool born every minute, and there's no way of stopping scams. But we don't really need a new thread on this site for copper iridium rice pulling coins - #12341 is still going and is a source of fun.

Indeed, that newspaper article does prove that such a scam is going around India (but we knew that), that it involves both itinerant

Nor did we ever doubt that coins were issued on or around 1616; goodness, coins were minted thousands of years earlier than that; Roman coins are still available for less than $20. What was your point?

The iridium copper coin or any metal are genuine and there is a factory in Orissa where duplicates are made worth nothing....the coin is worth a lot and also there has to be license to export this also see the news that a trading company in Europe deals with this genuine items, for selling in India a license is not required....
