Reducing stress in plated Permalloy
We are currently plating permalloy with a tensile stress of 200MPa. I was wondering if there are any known methods to reduce this stress to near zero values.

Berl Stein's paper on controlling stress in electroforming (www.finishing.com/library/stein/stresspaper.html) may have some applicability to your problem.
