Need help polishing aluminum wheels

Could someone tell what to use to remove anodizing from aluminum motorcycle wheel's. I can sand it off of the wheel on the outside, but not around the spoke holes.

Thanks for your help.

I am working on an aluminum trim polishing project. I have to remove a previous anodized finish. I am told that over cleaner works, believe it or not. Be careful not to leave it on too long, as I did, because it forms a dry powder which is difficult to remove. You might give it a try on a small test piece. Good Luck GB
