How to find U.S. Mil specs free
Q. In fact, I would like some help, in Thailand, it's difficult to find the MIL-STD 105E. I will appreciate if someone can tell me how can I find a copy or where to download. Thank you very much.
Sincerely yours,
Sansanee J.- Thailand
A. I checked, and this one is available from ASSIST at astimage.daps.dla.mil/quicksearch/ Just type in the spec you want, in this case "Mil-STD-105", as the 'E' is the revision.
Good luck!

Exactly, David. American shops are taxed so our government can provide this free leg up to their off-shore competitors. Why we feel it is a good idea to tax American shops to provide American military specs to their foreign competition for free is beyond me. But perhaps a beltway bandit was given a big contract to run this service as a reward for campaign donations. Who knows?

Q. Have tried unsuccessfully to locate and download Mil Spec 105 through the site contained in earlier responses. Am trying to use the random sampling procedure contained therein. Any help and/or other sources available?

A. Hi. The URL does seem to change pretty frequently. It's currently https://quicksearch.dla.mil/
