CLEANING ANODIZED SURFACES
IN REGARDS TO: INSPECTING ANODIZED SURFACES
I RELIEVE ALUMINUM BLACK ANODIZED PARTS THAT SOMETIMES EXHIBIT A CLOUDY APPEARANCE.
DOES THIS AFFECT FIT, FORM, OR FUNCTION?
WHAT CHEMICALS ARE SAFE TO USE ON ANODIZED SURFACES TO REMOVE THIS CLOUDY "FILM"?

Anodizing conditions, if not properly controlled may lead to reverse reaction, I mean, the coating starts to be dissolved by the electrolyte rather than build up.
A high electrolyte temperature maybe causing the problem, or if these cases are isolated, these may be caused by loosening of rack-to-parts contacts during anodizing.

Further to my reply, if the conditions I stated caused the cloudy appearance, I guess there's not much you can do except to rub and wipe the parts with clean cloth. If the coating specs do not meet your requirements, you'll have to re-anodize them.
