Cleaning Nickel on Banjo
How do you clean nickel that seems to have oxidized on a banjo?
Joan Patterson- Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
Remove oxidation from my banjo which I think is nickel plated. my banjo has a heavy layer of oxidation on what I think is nickel plated, what could I use to remove this to it's original shiny finish? what can I do to prevent it from recurring?
John Clanton- Huntsville, Alabama
Metal polish (chrome polish) for cleaning, then car wax ⇦ this on eBay or Amazon [affil links] . Nothing lasts forever and it may be time to have the components replated.
