Titanium finish on mechanical hardwares

I am currently searching for any kind of information on "titanium finish" or using titanium elements for plating metals. Any datasheets?

Thanks,

Metals can be coated by titanium by plasma PVD methods. In particular cathodic arc techniqques give highly adherent coatings wwith matte finish for thick coatings, while thinner coatings could be glossy. For particulate free coatings magnetron deposition could be more suited.
