Silicon mark
I am dealing with die cast aluminium anodising. Sometimes I face problem of silicon mark on the surface which makes the surface very bright upon dyeing ('cos that area doesn't have pores to trap dye). What I can do to reduce that mark?

My recommendation would be to have a higher fluoride content in your acid desmut step - the fluoride will do a great job of removing the silica and reducing shiny spots.
