Temperature for stainless steel to become magnetic
I need to calibrate the exact temperature for 18-8 stainless steel (302 type of austenitic) to become magnetic.
Thank you!
I've been looking for it.

Virginia, 302 doesn't have a Curie point: it doesn't become magnetic below a certain temperature. It will become ferromagnetic with cold work, if the working is sufficient to get it to transform its' structure from the FCC characteristic of austenitic stainlesses to martensite, a BCT structure.
Good luck!

You'll be looking for a long time! It won't become magnetic at ANY temperature.
