Process for Bronze (stain) on stainless steel shims
I am looking for a process to color about 1.5 million stainless steel shims of various thicknesses, 0.008-0.010 thick, about 1" diameter. I have seen a bronze color on similar material which would be perfect. Any details on such a process, material finishes and/or vendors would be appreciated. Peter.

This can be done by electrolytic anodization of the stainless or by PVD application of titanium nitride, Peter.
