Resistivity of the nichrome wire?
I am a student of a levels^A levelsand want to know about the restivity^resistivityof the nichrome wire and information about it as well as some information about the restivity^resistivity.
Thank you,
Zeeshan Khan- England
Dear Zeeshan,
You have a computer and access to the internet. Try using a search engine.
I did a search on Google and got dozens of listings. The very first one answered your questions and even offered free software for just about any calculation you may want to perform with nichrome. I would guess that even a basic physics text used at your school will have resistivity information about nichrome. As you research you will find that there are different nichrome alloys, each with a different resistivity.
By the way "a levels" should be "A levels". In addition "restivity" is "resistivity".

Well could you point me to a few of these sites since all I'm getting is THIS.

Try searching the major search engines like google, using "nichrome wire resistivity".
These terms pulled up many references. Perhaps it was the typo in resistivity that is causing your problem in finding things on the search.
