Cleaning an old brass bed
Q. I just inherited a very old brass bed and would like to know how best to clean, polish and relacquer it. I know it is at least 100 years old and we think it had a coat of lacquer on it when it was newer. I don't really want to totally refinish it just make it a little brighter.
