Ford plating specifications on line?
Please advise what S12 and S52 plating specifications are and can they be downloaded?
Thanks!

To the best of our information, automotive manufacturers do not maintain them on line, Alan; but you may be able to download pdfs (at a cost) from Global Spec.

Q. I am quoting a new part and it has a Ford plating spec. It says to plate per standard part finish S-35. Any help would be great.
Thanks

A. Whoever requested the quote should supply the spec. Cheeeeze, how do they know what they are asking for and how to inspect your work otherwise?
