Which is environmentally friendlier - Powder coat or zinc dip?
In terms of which process is the most environmentally friendly, would you recommend POWDER COATING or ZINC DIP for coating a steel cable tray?
Melissa Mizell- San Francisco, California
Powder coating is probably more environmentally friendly than zinc dipping.
But environmental friendliness, important as it is, should never be the only evaluation criteria. If it is, then forget powder coating and just dip your parts in chocolate.
