Filter Press
Dear Sir,
I'm using Filter press 16"X16"X16 Nos for Manganese Sulphate production, whereby there is a Plunger Pump with feed line of 1".When the pressure in the press increases to 50 to 55 lbs/Sq inch, the pump starts spurting the liquid from the plunger side . My question is what are the alternate pumps that I can use, for this small filter press?

Air powered diaphragm pump is what we use for sludge de-watering with a filter press because:- it is self priming, when the press is blocked the pump just stalls, the pump can run dry, it can operate up to approx. 100 psi. Downside you must have compressed air.
