Brass restoring
I'am restoring an old fan that has brass blades and cage. I have used all types of brass cleaners and cannot get the brass to its original luster. What will help to restore the blades back to the shiny brass luster?

Hello Scott,
You'll likely need to polish and buff the fan to make it look nice again. Also, you might try looking up the American Fan Collectors Association, they publish a quarterly magazine called "The Fan Collector".
Have fun,
