Finishing Copper for Outdoor Use
I am looking for a process to clean and shine a copper garden trellis that I manufacture and am curious if bright dipping is a cost effective answer. Will the shine remain when the copper is used outdoors? Would appreciate your comments.

Bright dipping is a fine idea, but you will need to immediately apply some tarnish preventative. Benzotriazole ⇦ this on eBay or Amazon [affil links] is a good one, but for outdoor use you would doubtless have to also use a clear lacquer; the simpler approach is a lacquer which contains benzotriazole, like Incralac ⇦ this on eBay or Amazon [affil links] .
