Problems in Hard Anodizing pressure cookers

1998

I have 2 questions regarding hard anodizing:

1) We plan to hard anodize aluminium pressure cookers. How can we drain the cookers after the hard anodizing process? Is it possible to anodize the cookers with the opening facing the bottom of the tank so that they don't fill up to begin with?

2) Typically we hard anodize for 3 hours. I understand that there are additives and pulse power supplies that will enable us to reduce the time required to 2 hours. Could any one point me in the right direction?

Thanks,

1. The jigs and fixtures for handling pressure cooker plays vital role in drag out of the solution. The fixtures should be made in such a manner that all solution will automatically drain. Keeping open mouth down while anodizing will help but it should be in slanted position to avoid possibility of trapping air bubble inside.

2. Pulse Rectifier will definitely help for reducing time as well as to increase the density of the deposits. We do manufacture pulse rectifier for anodizing precesses.
