CARC-compliant powder coating

Is there a powder coat that meets the military requirements for Chemical Agent Resistant Coating (CARC)?

Jim Helm

The resistance to DS2 decontamination solvent can be achieved in several powder coating systems, however, there are usually concurrent requirements of exterior durability and matte gloss.

There are no commercial coating powders that meet all three needs.

I do not have a contribution but a question. I am an architect designing a 470 foot steel pedestrian bridge and what to know if it is possible (both economically and and from a construction standpoint) to powder coat a sandblasted structure of this size?

Thanks

Powder coating need to be baked to fuse the coating, so this doesn't sound very practical.

I am looking for a used powder coating spray gun for home use. I know very little of the powder coating art so any help would be appreciated.
