Clearcoat for gold plated products?

I am looking for a hard clear coat for gold plated products. I was told there was a product called Clear Chrome but I am unable to find a supplier. If you know where I can get this product...

We use "Clearlyte" electrophoretic lacquer supplied by Enthone-OMI/Sel-rex for clear coatings on gold and silver plated items suggest you contact your local agent

hi, We are having trouble sourcing "ERCALENE" LACQUER PRODUCED IN UK (I THINK) OUR PERTH, WESTERN AUSTRALIA, SUPPLIER IS HAVING TROUBLE ALSO - CAN ANYONE SUGGEST WHERE I CAN PURCHASE. WE USE IT TO COAT POLISHED BRASS. THANK YOU. TOM
