Inhibitors for sulfuric acid anodizing

Dear Sirs:
I am currently working on anodizing diecast aluminum, LM5 or Al-Mg alloy, parts. Known from The Surface Treatment & Finishing of Aluminum and its Alloys by S. Wernick, R. Pinner, P.G. Sheasby that different metallic compounds' solubilities in aluminum alloy matrix are different in sulfuric acid during anodic process, so inhibitor should be used or else the texture outcome will be unsatisfied.

I would like to know what inhibitor or any brand name type is available in the market.

Thank you!
Best regards,

Hi, Wang. The book you referenced describes additions of oxalic acid, glycolic acid and some other materials. Any of the companies selling anodizing processes and technology can offer proprietary additives. Good luck.
