Remove scratches, re-polish Porsche 914 wheels aluminum wheels

I recently bought aluminum forged rims for a Porsche 914. there are some slight scratch marks on the polished aluminum. I would like to remove the scratches and then repolish the aluminum accents on the wheels. any suggestions on how I might go about this would be appreciated.

Hi, Chandler. I don't know the specs for these wheels--whether they are anodized, or coated with an organic. But in any case they are not going to be just a plain bare aluminum, so you have to deal with the coating first. You will see threads here about removing anodizing as well as clear coating. We have many threads on line here about polishing aluminum; probably letter 800 is a good place to start for instructions. Good luck!
