What does porosity in chrome plating look like?

I am looking for a source of a picture demonstrating, through magnification, the porosity of a chrome plated surface. Thank you.

Can we assume you are referring to hard chrome plating as opposed to decorative nickel-chrome plating, Richard? I'd say it resembles a dried mud flat. There are a number of texts on chrome plating which show what it looks like, and the 'Handbook of Hard Chromium Plating' by Robert Guffie would be a place to start. Good luck.
