Although I wrote 1971 as my graduation year, that is not exactly true. That would have been my graduation year had my family not moved from East Orange to Glen Ridge in 1967. My family lived on North Maple Ave. My older sister Carol, actually made it all the way thru 7th grade at OLAS before we moved. I began kindergarten at OLAS in the fall of 1962. I believe my teacher was Mrs. McGrath(?). My mother was a brownie and girl scout leader for several years back then. Although it's been 35 years, I still have lots of memories of OLAS. Looking at a photograph of the front of the school on the site, I can still remember sitting in the first floor classroom (east side of building) when my first grade class learned Kennedy had been shot.
After graduating from Glen Ridge HS in 1976. I went to Shepherd College in WVA. After graduating in 1981 I went to work for the Department of Defense and have lived in the Northern Virginia area since. Currently on a 3-4 year rotation to Camp Peary outside Williamsburg VA.

Well, here goes, a trip in the time machine!
I loved reading the reminiscences on the fondest memories pages, especially as I had a chance to visit E.O. last summer after 30 years. I have often thought of the OLAS days and friends sketched deep in my memory. Where are you now classmates? It would be good to see you again. Leslie Turner? Pamela Mann? Karen Lavin? Cindy Manto? Susan Romeo? Wanda Dean? Sharon Harte? Kathy Kircher? Adele Mastriano? Albert Fedors? Thomas Amato? William Kelshaw? Michael Mihal? Anna Marie Fehn? I am trying to visualise the rows of seats in the classroom! The Gregorys -- Jenkins and Hobbs? Cynthia Rose? Have you kept up with each other?
After 1 year at East Orange Catholic I moved to Tennessee and then the road just kept diverging, like Robert Frost said it would. (yup, guess who became an English teacher?!) I hope more of our year group will find this website and check in. No matter who we are now or what's happened since! , I still feel there's a part of you s 4 feet tall, raising our hands for permission to speak, wondering about the future and waiting for the bell to ring! Trip in the time machine!
I graduated 1971 and my family moved out of EO 1973 but my heart always stayed there.
We moved to Maplewood and I graduated from Columbian High School.
In 1980, I married Ann Camisa who graduated 1972. We have two wonderful Children and we live in Succasunna, NJ
David Silva, I read that you live in Succasunna, NJ Ann stays in touch with Anna Marie Fehn, she lives in Morris County. I work with Felix Lopex in Version I would love to hear from the people in the old neighborhood!

Robert, I remember your wife Ann Camisa very well, after all we graduated together in 1972. In 8th grade she was outspoken, sincere, active and fun to be with. Ann, enjoyed a lot of popularity in our 1972 class for all of the above reasons. I still remember she hosted the best post graduation party at her house which, was close to the border with Bloomfield. Say hello from an old buddy and tell her to check the 1972 class and future pic of the entire class soon to be posted.

I would have graduated in 1971 but my family moved to Verona during December of my 7th grade year. I cannot beleive I am reading your names from All Souls. Robert Collucci you and I were buddies when I moved. Billy Crane I hope your doing well. SO sorry to hear about your brother Gary. I will let my sister Susan know as she was in his class. Also I heard about Anna Maria Fehn by coincidence. I moved to Texas in 1979 but have lived in Florida for the last 2 1/2 years. Moved with my job. I saw the article in the paper about Anna Maria and though how many people could there be here with that name that recently moved form NJ. Sad story. She and I were very good friends at OLAS. I hope to hear back from you. Take care
