August 6, 2012 I was looking through my "gems" the other day and found this program from 1946. I have scanned it and am attaching this. Found your web page with other pictures and thought you would get a kick out of seeing it. I left East Orange in 1947 (in 4th grade) and would have graduated there in 1951 with Bobby Cooney who was a good friend of mine and lived on Springdale Avenue in 1946. I lived at 326 North Maple Avenue and remember John The Cop was on one corner and Tom The Cop was down on Springdale Avenue. I would appreciate any information you might have on Bobby Cooney as the last time I was in contact was in the late 70's. Sincerely, John Hanlon, Class of would have been 1951 |
