Anybody remember the Postmen who delivered to Ampere Section. Tom Gerraty (Two sons attended OLAS) covered Ampere Pkwy, Newfield, Ellington, Lawton & Little.
Tom Riley was on 4th Ave in the business district which included the PLAZA BAR, and the numbered streets from 4th to Park.
Bob Westerman had N Grove, Warrington Pl, 19th St etc.
Me (Bob Jeffery) from '66 - '79 was assigned to N> Grove from the Eaton Pl to Park Ave, Oraton Pkwy both sides of GSP pretty much the whole length with New St, Davis and lower Maple Ave to Park Ave - kept me in good shape. As the city changed N> Gorve at William was a real rough area but I survived until '92. Best from the South of France, actually Monaco.

Bob still believes in mail the old fashioned way. Today I got a postcard from him from Monaco. Thanks, Bob! Times have changed and in these days of three hundred e-mails a day from strangers and spammers, a postcard is just really cool and appreciated.

Call me crazy, with all that talk about the Plaza I could actually remember the smell of beer that came from the empty barrels that sat out back of the tavern. I lived at 11 Ampere Plaza and the back exit from the apts came out to the grassy yard that separated us from the back of the tavern.
