Delivered mail to 500 N.alnut St (Senior Bldg) across from Fredericks and since this was my last stop I often had "lunch" there. Art's daughter, Sharon, mentioned that she was going to school to become a hairdresser and since my wife owned a very upscale salon in Summit I asked her to apply for a job after graduation. One day my wife mentioned that she had a very unusual young lady stop in with her parents (Highly Unusual) to ask about a position. My wife was so impressed that she was hired and when we retired (Me from the EOPO) we "sold the shop to Sharon who to this day still owns it.
Art Pitts and two sons have passed on and both Fredericks and The Oak have been sold. Sharon still lives in Montclair.
