100 SOUTH MUNN AVENUE
I am not part of the graduating class, but I am a new resident of East Orange. I recently purchased a home in South Munn Avenue, since I could no longer afford NYC's high rents.
When I purchased my home, I had no idea I was buying a house located in a city with such a rich history. My children are naive, and blind to the 'criminal activities' that surround us, and are happy we moved here. I read to my children, the memories you all have shared in this web site. It helps us with the transition, and instills hope for the future. I did e-mail to one of the partiicipates and received additional information about EO. I will continue to read the web site, and as I meet other EO 'old timers' in my community, I will tell them about this web site too. I hope others keep writing about their EO's memories. It is appreciated by 'newcomers'.
I believe this city will return to its glory. I feel the wonderful history and the people that once lived in this beautiful city. I wondering if anyone knows of the family that once lived in 100 South Munn Avenue form 1940 to 1980. Please let me know. The house has interesting features.

Hi Alida - I don't know who lived in your house, but it is nice to know that there are some nice people moving into that great city. If you want to know more about East Orange, there is a book of postcards-"East Orange in Vintage Postcards" by Bill Hart. I bought mine on line at Barnes and Noble. Hope that helps. Hope to hear from you as to how you are gettin along. Grace D'Amore Campanaro
