Please help me find a not-so-difficult chemistry project!

Hello!

I'm a 15 yr old chemistry student in the Philippines. I'm having a hard time looking for a good, not so difficult chemistry project because being in 3rd yr high school makes you get really busy about doing many researches on our assignments coz our teacher requires us to write a 5 page research on a large mathematics notebook and must only write small letters! Please!

Anyone care to help?

Thanks!

How about a report on the pH and/or Lead content of water? You could test many different water sources, with an easy test, and write a report on the variations you find. For extra credit, research why the pH control of water is important to industrial processes.

Good luck,

That was a very good idea of Bob Zonis ...

But could someone (I sure can't!) tell Jr Go how to go about this test. What chemicals he has to use, what equipment he should have, etc. etc. That would make his research much easier.

Instead of water testing, you could do a plating experiment. This site has a FAQ section that includes demos for science class!
