Tin plating process

November 16, 2012

Q. Dear Sir,

Can you suggest me the proper Tin plating process on copper.

There are many complaints on tin plating process.

Please help.

Jack Roman
Engineer - India

A. Hi Jack. Please contact the vendor who sells you the tin plating process. If they cannot help, then you probably must retain a plating consultant.

You haven't yet told us what you are plating, why you are plating it, how you are plating it, or what your customer thinks is wrong with it. How can anyone make a meaningful suggestion for improvement? We can try to help you, but you must learn quite a bit about tin plating before we would be able to do so. Best of luck.

Regards,
