Want paint system that can be applied under water
October 11, 2012
Q. We have a situation where an associated company wants a reliable anti-corrosion paint for maintenance painting by divers underwater in the sea.
They have a means to remove old coatings, rust etc, and get a "reasonably" clean surface - all while underwater-, but have many problems with the few underwater applied paints that they have access to.
Does anyone know of a system of painting underwater that attains good adhesion and is for corrosion protection?
