Is there any mercury in Iridite?
Could there be any mercury if the print spec is: Iridite per MIL-C-5541 Class 3. I have to certify that a part we make in mercury free and I can't find anything that on this.
Thanks for your help.

You can have the tank analyzed or cheaper is to get an analysis of the Iridite chemical from the MFG that includes a mercury analysis. Your local water company routinely checks for mercury.
The problem is at what level. You will probably find mercury if the analysis is in parts per trillion.
Since you have not intentionally used mercury, the customer needs to tell you at what level they mean. Virtually nothing has absolutely zero parts of nearly anything including the base materials used.

Just get a copy of the MSDS from your supplier.
