Spraying candy colors over chrome wheels
I am looking to have some wire wheels sprayed candy to match my car. I understand preparing the surface to the fullest to make sure it bonds however people don't understand paint rarely bonds to chrome. I am wondering if I scotch brite the chrome and spray will it take it and whats the difference in powder coating. I was under the impression to heat my rims to 400 degrees after sanding then paint them all. Some say paint them then heat them allowing to them bake! Will candy be durable to not damage during this process

As most candy coating is carried out using the powder coating technique I would suggest you find a local coater.
Beware of some PC as they do not have the proper equipment to carry out a satisfying job i.e. production powder gun (not a DIY type) shot blasting equipment and a decent sized oven (not the wife's old kitchen oven). Leave the preparation to them otherwise you have no come back if things go wrong.
