Plating in nickel electroforming machine?

Q. We have some electroforming machines for stamper manufacturing. Can we use the same machines for any other plating purpose.

A. Sure you can. Should you? NO! Your electroform process does not like tramp metals and you will bring some in if you start plating general material. So, If you decide that you can use some of the equipment down time to make more money, do not come back and ask how to fix it when it no longer works. The answer will be to dump the solution and make up new. Not cheap.
