Does anti-tarnish as surface treatment affects functionality / bonding of lead frames?

Hello, I'm Shalini, attached to an electroplating industry in Malaysia. I'm interested to know about the purpose of anti-tarnish and whether it may affect the bonding or functionality of lead frames since our customer doesn't require the usage of anti-tarnish. I need some supportive informations to convince them since we are facing critical quality problems such as stain and this problem discontinues with the usage of anti-tarnish. But, customer is worried about the impact on bonding etc. Could you also recommend the suitable types of anti-tarnish to be used which is easy purchasing?
Thank you in advance!
