I am currently taking a toxicology class at TSTC and I am having to fill out Chemical Identification forms on Gold Cyanide, silver Cyanide, and Chrome VI and I am having trouble finding the information I need on a chemical Identification form such as UN/NA #, UEL, LEL, PEL, STEL, TLV IARC Reg., HMIS, solubility, etc. any help you can offer me would be greatly appreciated
thank you

Hi,Christopher. You probably need to find "Material Safety Data Sheets" (MSDS) for the gold cyanide and silver cyanide. The manufacturers provide these and often you can find them on the web. "Chrome VI" is more a concept than a product, so that would be harder to find. But you should be able to find an MSDS for "chromium trioxide" or "chromic acid". Good luck.

Just out of curiosity, though, can I ask how you can be taking a course on toxicology where they don't tell you where and how to efficiently find toxicology data?  I would think that the very first thing they'd teach is where to obtain authoritative data and avoid data being corrupted by internet rumor :-)
