Stainless and copper pots and pans scratched from first cleaning

I recently bought Kenmore pots and pans from Sears I opened them up and washed them by hand to get the factory oils off and used white vinegar in bulk on eBay or Amazon [affil links] liked told the next morning while I cleaned my house and kitchen I placed the 8 piece set in the dish washer I used automatic dish soap to run the load with the other dishes and I noticed after it came out of the dish washer it was scratched with deep marks how can I get those off it says you are able to stick the pots and pans in the dishwasher it is not recommended but it says it is dish washer safe.

is there anything I can get to fix it any suggestions ?

I've never seen that kind of damage from a dishwasher...how did you "wash them to get the oils off"? That's more likely when the scratches occurred.
