Reel to reel electroplating dummy

I faced a problem of what dummy is the best for reel to reel electroplating.

Now we are using the dummy from stamping bad terminal, but after few time used, the dummy become crispy and hard, due many time over the chemical and plating. Cause we short of dummy from time to time.

As you have found, to dummy on the line is difficult.

Why not use a simple plate cathode in the holding tank? You can probably do this while the line is running.

If you are having to dummy the solution regularly, you should be looking for the source of the contamination.
