Student project: Benefits of tin electroplating and how is it done?

I want to know, how are benefits of tin e-plating and what's the procedure. To write me about it.

Hello, Joginder. As for the procedures for tin plating, an accessible source is the Metal Finishing Guidebook -- you should be able to find it in a local city or university library.

The benefits of doing something can only, of course, be expressed in terms of comparing it to not doing it, or doing something else instead. But some properties of tin plating that can be beneficial are that it is non-toxic, it is anodic to steel under anerobic conditions, it's relatively soft, it's generally solderable, it's aesthetically attractive, and it's electrically conductive. Good luck
