Early corrosion on pylons in soils with sulphates & chlorides

How can it possible to avoid early corrosion in the base of galvanized pylons (for electricity) being installed on a soil rich of chlorides and sulphates?

I think this would be done with a cathodic protection system which impresses an electrical current upon blocks of metal placed into the soil so that they are anodic to the galvanized pylons.

Dear Sir,

Cathodic Protection for electrical pylons is very interesting. Well, we have done the pilot project in Malaysia for pylons located in corrosive area such as the swamp chloride contaminated area.

It may seems that Magnesium anodes is suitable for high resistivity or Zinc anode for low resistivity. You can installed at four compass point. the number of anodes depends on the current requirement.

Please let me know your design requirement and I will comeback to you.
