Tuning up copper work around restaurant's wood-fired oven
I work for a restaurant in Las Vegas, NV and we have a wood fired oven that has a large piece of copper above its opening. The restaurant is now 10 years old and the copper piece is dented and looks bad. Can you reccommend how we could "refresh" its appearance by distressing the whole thing, or staining it?!

It will be labor intensive, but beat out all of the major dents and then give it a hammered copper finish. Try Ball Peen hammers of various sizes on some scrap copper or in an area that it will not show.
