Hi, Pandit. Is it possible to express your question in terms of the situation rather than as a hypothetical? A coating weight out of control can be the result of a number of different process parameters being out of control, not just one, and it is almost always impossible to predict the consequences of out of control processes; plus a long discussion of theoretical factors irrelevant to your actual situation is better for a textbook that for a forum response. So please, what is your actual situation? Thanks.
