How to adjust the subsidence rate of salt spray

We put two collectors in the salt spray chamber, but the collection volumes of two collectors differ from each other. What is the reason and how can I do to handle the problem.

There will always be some difference because of the design of the cabinet. That is why ASTM B117 requires one collector near the center and one near the outside. Also, both must not get any drips off of the rack or the parts.

Hi -

This is not uncommon and I'm not sure of the reason. In theory the fallout should be uniform all around the chamber but often is not.

We saw a large improvement in the uniformity after paying for the rep to come and perform a detailed cleaning and refurbish of the chamber. This included tubing and air bubblers among other items.
