Refrigerator refinishing

I have an old refrigerator which works just fine. But since I am redoing the kitchen I want to refinish it in something that looks like stainless steel. The fridge is white and looks old. It's about 64" high 31 deep and 30 wide. I saw something on a home show where they used something that sticks to the outside of an appliance to make it look like it's stainless. Where do I get this material? It was like contact paper.

Thanks,

Probably a mylar somewhat like the silver balloons. I have not seen it in shops in this area. Check with the people at the show for what it was and where to get it. I know, homework.

Question: I have a Kitchen Aid fridge about 7 years old that has developed cracks along the inside seal on the plastic membrane. Is there a way to fix that so it looks as good, who does this type of repair/finish work and lastly...how much like something like this cost? Is there a kit? Thanks.

Aloha,

I have a customer who wants to refinish a refrigerator from Almond color to Black. I would be interested in any information anyone may have on materials and procedures
