Over spray problem on auto finish

2006

I recently had the hood and deck repainted for a 2000 Mercury Marquis. The color is black. Unfortunately the body shop where it was done let over spray drift to the part of the building where the car was parked. There is ever so slight overspray on the car.
To the average person, it is not noticeable. I know it's there because I can feel it.
I know this car has a clear coat on it and don't want to damage the finish. Is there a solution through polish or cleaners?
Thanks -

There's a good chance you can remove the overspray using buffing/polishing compound....but, unless you have experience doing that, you'll probably cut through the good paint underneath and make a mess of it. Take it back to the place that screwed it up, or to a professional detailing shop and have it buffed out.
