DRYING TIME
Dear All,
Here by I would like to know the drying timing for Zinc cobalt plating with yellow passivation (of min 8 micron). And what would be the minimum & maximum temperature for drying

Most people feel that chromates should not be dried at over 140 degrees F., Sathia. But no one can properly estimate the drying time without knowing the actual parts, their thickness and weight, how they are racked and so on. Even then it can be a difficult modeling problem. The opposite approach is more frequently taken -- a dryer of more than 2 stations is often generally impractical, which means you have about 10 minutes drying time if you are processing 12 loads an hour. Then you decide that the parts must be racked and blown off in such a way that this will be enough.
